PLEASE NOTE: This 230mm/9” twin plate kit is not a direct fit into the bellhousing on Subaru/Toyota boxer
engines. Without modification the pressure plate will interfere with the starter pocket of the bellhousing.
The starter motor pocket requires chamfering as below to ensure the clearance on the alloy cover.
This needs to be done using a flapper wheel/linishing disc on an angle grinder. The modification will not affect the strength or function of the starter motor or transmission.
With the starter pocket modified, the clutch can be slid into the bellhousing to check for clearance.
Once the clutch is mounted on the engine, mount the transmission with a few bolts and rotate the crankshaft to ensure that the clutch does not interfere with the bellhousing
